Customizing Homepage for all users

Hello. I am trying to change the look of the homepage for ALL users in the CRM.

How do I removing the tabs such as Tracker/Sales Page/Marketing & Support Page so that the Homepage will be clean and only show a few dashlets?

Also, How do I remove dashlets for all users (existing and future users). I want to show only My Calls and My Leads dashlets on this page.

Please help me, this is urgent.

Hi!

'modules/Home/home.tpl' - changes the look of the homepage for ALL users in the CRM.

'modules/Home/dashlets.php' - there are dashlets which show by default.

Thanks for the help. Is it possible to change these files by adding them to the /custom directory so that the changes will be upgrade-safe?

And BTW, is it possible to move any file to the /custom directory (from /modules dir), and make the changes there instead of in the core files?

Hi Edan

You can copy the modules/Home/dashlets.php into custom/modules/Home/dashlets.php, that will work.
But I don't know if it works for the modules/Home/home.tpl.

I have taken a look in my modules/Home directory and cannot find a dashlets.php file. The home.tpl file is there though. I am using Sugar Version 5.1.0RC so perhaps you are talking about a different version of sugar?

I so, how do I make the changes in this version?
