Customizing shipping_address_street in Accounts module

I have added a new custom field in Studio for Shipping Address Zip 4, which I want to add to the Shipping Address fields. It appears that the address fields are grouped together. Is there any way I can edit this group? Just adding a row and putting the new field in that row throws the layout off.

Hi Meovino

You need to modify the tpl and javascript files include/SugarFields/Fields/Address/ to add this new field into layout or copy this folder to another one.
And you need to add the attribute 'type' => 'Newaddress' into fields defs at the editviewdefs if you copy this folder to a new one to safe the original code.

Is this upgrade safe? I don't have any problem doing it, I just don't want it wiped out in an upgrade. Thanks!

The upgrade safe strategy is duplicating the folder include/SugarFields/Fields/Address to a new one, modify what is necessary and refer the new address field into editviewdefs.php and detailviewdefs.php.
