Hi guys,
I have a fresh install of SugarCRM Open Source Version 4.5.1b (Build 1246) running on a shared hosting account (Linux, php5, mysql). Everything works fine except for Module Loader and Upgrade Wizard. Whenever I click on either one of these the site hangs for about 10 seconds and then a dialogue pops up asking me to download index.php. My error log gives the following errors (1 or the other, no pattern);
Sat Apr 14 19:40:42 2007,949 [15513] FATAL SugarCRM - MySQL error 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
OR
Sat Apr 14 19:40:55 2007,497 [15883] FATAL SugarCRM - MySQL error 2006: MySQL server has gone away
I called GoDaddy hosting support and after a few mintues they said there is nothing they can do. I would prefer not to have to go find a new host and also I would prefer to stay on shared hosting for now. Is there any way around this problem other than making changes to the msql config file (something I can't do with the shared hosting account)? I have read other topics on this, tried changing folder permissions, ect and nothing seems to work.
If I do need to find a new host, is anyone here using SugarCRM Open Source on a shared account where everything works?
Thanks in advance,
Jimmy Jones

Can anyone recommend a shared host that will successfully run the latest version of SugerCRM open source?
