    Question Dashboard Not showing any data -Data Not Available

    We have been working with Version 5.2.0 (Build 5380) we did this install via FTP to our clients server on our Hosting companies shared server option- and we are getting blanks in the Dashboard - It keeps coming up with "Data Not Available" and we have about four dummy oppertunities to have data to show up in the Graphs - but no graphs - we have spent ages comparing and figuring but have hit a brick wall - can anyone help.

    We also have been working on Version 5.0.0RC (Build 2855) and have now done a few installs from within my Hosting Partners "application vault" straight to the clients space on the shared server and my design partner also has done an install to the same server via FTP of the Sugar Application and for some reason all looks fine except nothing shows up in Dashboard whatever way we install. W have asked out Hosting provider to check to see if the permiissions were set correctly and they believe they are. We still think it might be a permisiosn issue. But we are looking for help - we love Sugar but are at our wits end. So essentially no dashboard showing its completely blank.

    Hello,

    click on the little pencil edit button and check the settings. Make sure the dates, sales stages, users etc are correct. It looks like for 5.2, the start date defaults to today. If you modify this date to a past date, then graph appears with data.

    I am having the same problem on v 5.2 with Pipeline by Sales Stage. I tried setting the date to an earlier time but that does not work. Also, the dashlets that are not date-specific, e.g., Opportunities by Lead Source by Outcome, are not displaying any data. Any other ideas? Thanks.

    I'm having the same problem, running 5.2. Does any have any idea of how to start troubleshooting it?

    I am having the same problem.
    The Pipeline doesn't show anything.
    However, when loading the Dashboard module the Pipeline is viewable.
    Any ideas?

    Hi all,
    I think while installing sugarCRM ,we have to include sample data at last step before installation .This provides data to all these things .
    If there is message like "No data available"
    Then i think this may be reason.

    Sugar 5.2 has long since been installed. There is LOTS of data in there now, though I'm not sure if there was sample data there prior to installation. Seems odd that you'd need to have sample data as a prerequisite to the dashlets working when data is added. If that's the case, how do I retroactively populate with sample data? Thank you

    I fixed this issue by changing the file permissions in the cache/xml directory from 660 to 666

    Have you logged onto Sugar's public demo to see if 'their' charts load in 'your' browser. It would rule out any client-side issues. Other than that I pretty sure its a file permissions issue.

    Chart data was not displayed for me this morning. As soon as I changed the file permission on about 4 files that looked kinda like this: 1_4d3c5b63-93c3-2d51-d8e9-4989ad5db6d6.xml from 660 to 666 chart data immediately displayed (also the XML folder/directory permission is set to 775)
