Dashboard only working for user 'admin'

Hi,

I just installed the CE version of SugarCRM and so far so good, I created many accounts, contacts and now I created a few opportunities. I did all that using the 'admin' user. I then created other username, including one for myself and I assigned myself the 'Administrator' privilege.

When I log in using my own username, the dashboard is empty, but when I use the 'admin' user, I see the opportunities I created.

Also note that I assigned all opportunities to my own username, not to 'admin'.

Any idea what can cause that behavior?

what dashboard are you looking at? Press the edit button to check to see what filters are being used.

Logged in with your username, are you able to see see the Accounts, Contacts and Opportunity records in the modules?

What were the steps you used to assign the records to your username (did you select your username as the assign to person, or did you do so using mass udpate)?
