Dashboard permissions

Hello,

It seems all users can view other user's opportunities by clicking on the dashboard tab and filtering other users. Is there a way to prevent this? We need them to ONLY view their own opportunities and not others. (Except of course for the Admin's).

Any idea on how to accomplish this?

Hi,

If you want the user of your CRM is not interact with the other user of CRM and cannot see the data of other user then you have to create a ROLE where you have to define that the created user have the right to see the data.

Thanks for your help.

I have the roles set correctly, They cannot view other peoples data by clicking the tabs. However, it still shows the other users data in the dashlet charts even though they do not have permission.

It is possible, but non-upgrade safe.

You should need to modify the core file of the Dashboards you are trying to restrict access.
This customization can be lost after some further upgrade.
Let us know if you really want to perform such action.

I would be interested in learning how to do this. All my roles are set correctly but my sales users can still see all of the other people in the Dashboard.
