Dashlet Prefs

Does anyone know if dashlet pref's are cached in a file somewhere?

What I'm trying to do is to copy over some prefs from 1 user to another. I know the code is working cause afterwords if i print out the contents of content (after unserializing and all that) the arrays have the same values.

However the dashlets do not update with the new prefs.

If they're not being cached in a file somewhere any idea whats going on ?

Check out the user_preferences table. They are likely stored within the records where the category value begins with "home"
