dashlet works for 2 users, not for 3rd

we are just starting. 3 users, all same rights, same Windows 7, same Chrome. 2 can display the dashlets with bar graphs (e.g. pipeline) ok, but me I can't. The numbers show, but not the bars. The dashlet with the piechart however does work fine.

If I log into my colleague's account from my computer, it works fine.

If I log on their computer into my account it does not work.

any clue why this bug?

Try to reset user preferences and home page of buggy user.

not sure how I fixed it but it works.

I went for resetting the preferences as you suggested, and discovered that there were also fields to define thousand and decimal separators which were different to other places where I defined it too (general settings). So did the change and it now works fine!
