Dashlets wont retain saved information

I Go to edit the dashlet settings and hit save. The window closes but does not save my changes. Tried all the dashlets and different settings but it just does not save my changes.

I have tried the repairs, the restore to defaults but to no avail. Please advise.

First guess is you have a permissions problem. Depending on your system, if its internal or testing, turn the display php errors on in the php confgiuration file. If not chekc the web server and make sure you have the custom directory (and all sub directories) with 774 rights. (i.e. make sure your web server user has write permissions to the directory.)

If everything is set correctly, you can check using the documentation that shows the exact permission to have set, reply back with more information about your system! OS, web server version, php version, Sugar version, etc...

Well it was working perfectly until I upgraded to 5b. Thats when I started having issues.

PHP Version: 4.4.4
Web Server: Apache/1.3.37
Sugar 5.0b

My folder permission is 755

Good question! Might want to post this in the developers forum as well. Wonder if this is a bug. Check the bug reports. Beyond that will have to wait for kbrill, superman, or one of the other php guru's pop into this thread.

ok I figured out something, If i make changes to the dashlets they do retain the saved settings but they dont take effect until i logout and log back in.

I had the same issue. It only change when I re-login. It shouldn't be like this right?
