Data from drop down lists not merging

Hello all,

We are using SugarCRM version 5.0f and we're trying to perform a mailmerge (to a Word document, using the SugarCRM Word plugin). Merging works fine, except for data from drop down lists (these are all custom fields). All data from these drop down lists is omitted when merging.

I tried this with some "clean" documents in order to exclude any problems with the Word documents. In Sugar, I can see the data in dropdown lists just fine.

What would I need to do to debug this?

After somy toying I found a solution / workaround to this problem: it turns out that when performing a merge on a custom drop down list, the value for the english language of the list is chosen. As my lists only are in Dutch, there is no value to choose and to print.

I solved this by symlinking the Dutch language file to a "fake" English language file. Now merges work as expected (but it's still a tad dirty..).
