Default Data traffic question for mobile users

One of our customers develops solutions for mobile devices and smart phones. They have asked us how much data passes between SugarCRM and a client browser during a typical query .... does anyone have any ideas or know how I could ascertain this?

    Hi,

Use firefox and download this extension that reports size downloaded:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1433/

Please note, it doesn't take into account (or at least it didn't used to) any files already cached - and will still include these in the amount downloaded.

You can also look at details using the livehttpheaders extension for exact details of what had been downloaded and what was cached, compressed etc.

thanks stevec ... that did the job ... i don't think it counts cache anymore ... page sizes varied considerably as I expected ... difficult to check tho 'cos if you clear cache you get logged off SugarCRM.
