Date Entered and Date Modifies Fields Doesnt Work

Hi All

In my custom module there are default fields (date entered & date modified)

If you dont change anything and then submit it is working

If you change just DATE ENTERED it is giving "My SQL error 1292 "

If you dont touch DATE ENTERED field and change DATE MODIFIED you can submit easily but it always shows TODAY

I checked LOCAL SETTINGs and SYSTEM SETTINGs

I dont understand what is going on ? Any idea?

What do you mean by changing the fields? Those fields are not designed to be edited by the user, but rather to be only updated by the system upon saving a record.

By "change" I mean changing the date (Date of Enter and date of Modify)

I am still figting with DATE ENTERED

Although I am choosing TODAY date, it always displays 01/01/1970

What a stupid thing...I dont understand

Are you trying to manually set the DATE ENTERED field? You might just be having issues with the formatting of the date so it cannot be parsed into DB format, thus ends up defaulting to 01/01/1970. Setting dates can be a bit tricky because you need to account for a user's selected date format.
What exactly are you trying to do? Can you post a code snippet that relates to the problem?

Nothing set by manually

Date Antered and Date Modiefied fields come defaultly

I had clonned these fields (default fields) right now and problem fixed
