Date field for Year Only

Hi,

Is there a feature/work around/ etc. that will allow me to create a date field that is only used for selecting a Year. For example online backing, or submission pages that as for the date of birth in three different dropdowns.

So when a new year begins it is added to the list.

I think you should to create this field manually.

You need to add function in vardefs for your year field.

Ok,

No sure how to do this. But is it a case of creating a Dropdown via studio and then create a custom script that is called in the vardefs to populate the field?

About functions in the vardefs.php read there.

You should to create new record in the vardefs.php
Then, add your function.
Function should return a dropdown.
