We just upgraded to 4.2.1b, the open source not pro version, three days ago. Today we are having problems with date formats. Yesterday we configured one user's email, such that he can receive email from a POP3 server, and send it directly from Sugar. He went into his settings and changed his date format from yyyy-mm-dd to dd/mm/yyyy, and attempted to change his time from 24 hours to the AM/PM kind. He was unsuccessful at the latter attempt, but the date format seemed to stick at dd/mm/yyyy.
Today he noticed that when he creates a task, or schedules a call, the date is usually misinterpreted upon save. It ends up sometimes in 1999, sometimes 2020, sometimes just this past May, and other times last December. But this problem renders the app quite unusable for scheduling tasks and calls, which is pretty important for a CRM. We tried going back to the old date format, yyyy-mm-dd, and this seemed to succeed, but the dates are still misparsed when creating a task or scheduling a call.
Does anyone have an idea how we can fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.
