Date format problem (very strange)

Hello,

I have strange problem in SugarCRM 5.1. (after upgrade).

I have set system wide date format to dd.mm.yyyy, also the users have the same format.

In Activities - Tasks the task due date is displayed as: 09.12.2009, but for some dates as 01.01.1970, when i click into detailed view of that 01.01.1970 task, i see the completely different date format for start and for due date:

Due Date: 09/16/2008 12:00
Start Date: 16.09.2008 08:00

and in edit view:

the dates are ok:

Due Date: 16.09.2008
Start date: 16.09.2008

Any idea what could be wrong?

The problem appeared after upgrade to 5.1.

Which version are you using?
Can you reproduce this issue in the newest version?

Hi Andopes

I overlooked my local settings. I had changed the date format in the admin section but not on my account. After i changed the date format of my account it worked fine.

The reason i was in there was because the Gantt chart for 5.2 OS was not displaying the full chart and i thaught it had something to do with the date format. Even after resolving it though its still not displaying correctly.

Ive mailed the developer for help so we will see how that goes.
