Date Format for Web to Lead Form

Hi,

I which format our clients have to write the date in the web to lead form? E.g. 15-08-2009 or 15.08.2009... ???
I've tried to write the date manually this way 15-08-2009 but when I click on save, this date appears: 01-01-2000?

Our programmer need to have the information!

Try using the database format, which is YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

That should do it.
