Default DB Restore and no charts

I have backed up MYSQL database and restored on a new server where I did fresh a Sugar Installation (same version as source - the latest stable CE edition) , The data seems to be there but no charts show up.

I checked dates on the charts and are set correctly. The folders have 775 permission, however, the cache/XML is empty..I have not restored the Sugar installation files from the old server to the new (just db).. should those charts get re-created?

Any idea what I did wrong?

    Tks

do you have a copy of the original application files? ... sugar spreads customisation files and upload/email files across many directories ... if you are moving server, you should always seek to move application and data

I still have the previous files.. I am assuming that I would have to copy all writeable directories (as belelow) or should I move everything?

cache/ and all subdirectories and files
custom/ and all subdirectories and files
data/ and all subdirectories and files
modules/ and all subdirectories and file

You should be able to move only the directories you specify ...
