deal with custom Fields

Hi everybody,

I want to extend the search interface of my Contacts Module , that why i'm
pimping up my layout with the Layout editor .
The problem is , i want to use the same label twice , by editing a new costum field
can anyone help me?

The studio will not let you do this. when you create a new custom field it will create a new label. The only way around this is to edit the custom field definitions directly after you create the custom field in the studio. you will have to edit a table in the db and repair custom fields in the admin you can then remove the extra label from the custom directory file in the appropriate module.

I reword my question.
How can i delete a label ?
I deleted custom fields , but labels still be there ...
