    Default Default values for campaign variables

    Hi there,

    I am sending out a campaign with variables from the contact and account modules. However, some of my contacts are missing the information in the needed field. I used to use Responsys, which allows you to set default values for records missing the information.

    For example, in the line "[contact_account_name] is a great company" I could set "Your company" to show up whenever I don't have the account name.

    Is there a way to accomplish this?

    I am using SugarCRM 6.01. CE.

    As far I understand there is no upgrade safe way to accomplish that.
    You should need to edit the modules/EmailTemplates/EmailTemplate.php

    I think I'll adapt my texts, but I believe this could be a nice enhancement for the campaigns module.
