delete employees issue,require clear answer...

Hi All,

we are new to this and using 4.5.0. Mainly as a contact database, which it is perfect for our needs. Now Ive come across the cant delete emplyees/users issue. Ive trawled the forum and read it all. It still doesnt help.

I ask:

1. Im on a far later version than some of the other posts, is there not a fix?
2. Some of the fixes are :going and deleting or change the records to =1. Which file do i do this in? Its been said in mysql. If so what progam do i use to do this?

3 Finally it cant be done I want to re-install it , what file is my backup of just 'contacts' our most important field. So i dont re-instate exactly as it is.

I hope that makes sense.
