In SugarCRM it is not part of the Master Plan to delete users or employees.
You set their status to "Inactive" instead.
You can only delete them if you drop their database rows in tavle users.
But be absolutely sure that no other records have reference to these users - otherwise your application will be corrupted.
You can set the "deleted" field to 1 for the user to be deleted in the "users" table of sugarcrm database. This will remove the user from the user listing in sugarcrm.

If you are using MSSQL DB you can delete the users by not affecting the performance of your CRM program.
you may use query and MSSL commands by verifying the table of your users db and then check whether the user exist in your users db. then you can do a query by deleting the user account.
it works for me and the performance of my CRM 5.0 is not affected.![]()
Well, how does one prevent users from deleting accounts ?Originally Posted by kuske

If just the SugarCRM admin has access to database and this admin is a prudent person so you don´t have to worry about it.
As Kuske told, you can mark the user as Inactive. This way that user can no longer access the system and the integrity between its id and all records related to that is saved.
