About LinkBacksI noticed that a deleted item stays in the database, just with the deleted bit set to 1. I assume this is to preserve relationships. Is there any other reason for this behavior?

Not all sales persons do really know what they do on a PC. (I beg pardon from all who do)
I just had to restore an object in Sugar.
Thank goodness it was not deleted but only set to deleted=1.
But there is a scheduler job which prunes the database on every 1st of a month - which I inactivated.
