deleting mail from server? where is setting?

maybe i am missing something but isnt there a way to remove emails from the server so they dont keep reappearing in my inbox?

where is the setting to remove copy from server?

In version 4,5,1 you have advanced option in inbound email settings.
In this adwanced options there is a flag "leave messages on server".
If this checkbox is unchecked messages will be deleted in receiving.

i went to this section and i still dont see the inbound email advanced option or in the email settings.

thanks but can you be more specific as to the commands to get to the interface y9ou are referring?

in 4.5.1.x you must click on "My Account" - "Edit"
then scroll to the end of the screen and click on the two words "Show Advanced" (see appended image).

Hi,

I have the exact same problem with Sugar 5. The option to delete mails from server has been removed in this version and I can't delete group messages.

I have already spent quite a few hours to solve this with no success. Anybody can tell me how to tweak the code so I messages get deleted?
