Detail view of modules are missing

Hi,

I'm using SugarCRM CE version 6.0.1 Build 4143. I deployed two custom modules, fields and edited the edit, detail and list views of some of the default modules. After about 3 days of saving data into it, my colleague told me that the detail views were missing. I checked into it and confirmed it. All of the module's detail views cannot be seen when they are opened, though we could still edit it. Is there a way to solve this?

Have you installed any third party plugin?

Or have you done any customizations ?

Yes, I've done some customizations:
- custom fields added to Accounts and Contacts module
- 2 custom modules added, with relationships to each other (many-to-many)
- default HTTP link in notifications was changed from loopback address to 192.x.x.x (in config.php)
- Leads, Projects modules were hidden (to be included later on)
- some dropdown lists were edited (industry, sales stage, sales probability)
- changed the default currency (again, in config.php)

Third-party plug-ins I've installed (but ininstalled later on after you mentioned it):
- Calendar Web 2.0 by CARRENET
- BirthdayDashlet
- Advanced OpenSales Quotes for SugarCRM
- Advanced OpenSales Products for SugarCRM
- Process Manager

I'm thinking of backing up the mssql folder in the program directory, uninstalling SugarCRM, reinstalling it and copying the backed-up folder over. Would this work?

Hello,

The customization you have mentioned cannot generate such an error. Have you checked error logs, and sugarcrm.log for more information?

And you are sure that you had issue before you installed all 3rd party plug-ins?

Unfortunately, I decided to uninstall SugarCRM and chose to reinstall it, using the MySQL stack installer instead of the previous MSSQL. I wasn't able to check the log files. Still, thanks for the reply.

This might be out of topic now but I'll ask it anyway:

I imported the modules to .csv files. Do I have to replicate the customizations I did before I could successfully export the files? I tried exporting every field possible and it failed. I guess I'll have to try exporting less of the fields.

How are you trying to import the customization actually?

Anyway, if you still have the older DB why not relate new instance with that?

You then just might need to get your third party tools installed again.
