Default Detail View Screen Gone Blank

Hi - I'm working with a fresh install of Sugar Community Edition Version 5.1.0b (Build 4905). I've just started working with it, the first thing being adding fields and dropdown lists in the Account module and customizing EditView. That all went well without problems. However, I added a couple of test records using the new Edit screen, and when I click "Save" it returns a blank screen.

Somehow the detailView screen is not displaying correctly. I know the records are in there, they are displayed in the LIstView, but somehow the DetailView is just throwing a blank screen.

In the Studio, when I open DetailView in the Editor, the default panel with fields are there.

I did the repair and rebuild, and that processed with no errors, but did not solve the problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!

    Hi RMoher

If you have access to the files check if there is any error into sugarcrm.log at the root of the system.
Look at the tail of this file.

Looking at the tail end of the log file, there was the error message:

HTTP Error: CURL Extension, or OpenSSL extension w/ PHP version >= 4.3 is required for HTTPS

We are not running SSL for this install, so we edited the php.ini file in order to enable the cURL extensions.

This seems to have fixed the problem!

    Thank you for your help!

I am having the same problem with a fresh install of 5.01b. The detail view for Contacts and Accounts worked to begin with. However, after adding some custom fields the detail view became a blank page. In Studio, I can bring up the Detail view in Contacts, but not in Accounts. My Sugarcrm.log has the following error

Thu Dec 11 13:11:05 2008 [2056][1][FATAL] HTTP Error: no data present after HTTP headers
    Thu Dec 11 13:11:05 2008 [2056][1][FATAL] HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error

    Any Ideas?
