    Default detailviewdefs.php and Leads Issue

    Hi there,

For some reason changing the detailviewdefs.php and performing a repair on the Leads module is looking to have no impact whatsoever on the form. I'm trying to add custom buttons but they do not show, also I took the liberty to comment out the entire form section as well to see if it would make any difference but still the same buttons seem to show even after the repair. It's almost as though the buttons for the Leads Detail View header are being overridden from somewhere.

Has anyone see anything like this before?

    Using:

    Windows 2003 64bit
    SugarCRM Pro 5.2
    IIS 6 + PHP 5.2 + MySQL 5.0.67

    Which detailviewdefs.php are you changing?
    custom/modules/Leads/metadata/detailviewdefs.php or modules/Leads/metadata/detailviewdefs.php?
You must edit the one in custom and remove cache/modules/Leads/DetailView.php after edting it.

As Marnus said, work in custom/modules/Leads/metadata/detailviewdefs.php and set the developer mode ON.

Enabling developer mode will take care of clearing cache and all.
