Question Determine Relationship of Module entry

I have a custom module setup, where the module "sales transaction history" has a many-to-one relationship with contacts. So for a single contact, I could have multiple sales transactions listed in that sub-module.

When I do a manual csv import of transaction history data into this sub-module, there is no way for me to also assign a value to the "one" relationship field. In fact, it's not even an option among the import fields.

How do I then import, lets say, 1000 single sales transactions and associate them with 600 contacts?

I appreciate any pointers or help.

You need to edit the extended vardefs where this field is defined (custom/Extension/modules/<Module>/Ext/Vardefs/) and make sure the attribute 'importable' => 'true', is defined for the field related to Contacts.
Run Admin -> Repair -> Rebuild Extensios
