    Default dev tool kit help

i have created a dependent drop down with the dev tool kit which works great when editing or creating but in display view the dependent field shows a blank

how do i fix this so that wwhen i save the record the dependent field gets saved with data

    never mind
it was solved by making the default list for the dependent field something with data in it for some reason when it was a blank list it would not display the values

question to andopes on the dev tool kit how do I do two dependent fields that are not related as in dropdown1 effects dropdown2, and then also on the same page dropdown3 effects dropdown4
