Default Difference between 'inbound email' in admin and 'Email' ?

    Hi,
I'm struggling to get it clear in my head the difference between the inbound email configuration in the admin menu and the emails setup on the main user menu?

What I would like to be able to do is have sugar pickup my email via imap and create a case for the emails.
Preferably sending back an auto response, I see there is an 'auto-reply template' setting in the incoming email setup, is this what I need to edit?

Then there is the 'emails' section on the main user menu? Is this a way for sugar users to add their own email account and have it pickup their own email?

    Thanks for any advice,
    M

You need to setup the inbound from the admin part, set the the possible action to create case.

Make sure you setup the scheduled jobs en cronjobs / windows schedulers to pickup the scheduler.
