Different layout types

Hi guys,

Is it possible to save different layouts under Leads and Contacts modules and have a drop-down field that would require a user to select a layout from the list (every time when entering a new lead and contact)?
The same functionality similar to SalesForce's "record type" selection field or NetSuite's "Custom Form" drop-down menu.

Are you meaning some sets of panels related to a dropdown option?
If yes so it is pretty possible implementing some code.

I mean having different form/page layouts in Leads and Contacts modules. So when a user receives a call he/she can select a particular form type from the drop-down menu which should change a generic form to the selected with all of the customized fields. Currently I see only one generic layout that can be customized - but I want to be able to save different layouts and let a user select one during the intake call. Thank you again
