    Default Different Port: Email Notification

    I had to host SugarCRM on a server communication with an different port as usual.

    After installation I updated my config.php on the following line: 'site_url' => 'http://domain.com:880/sugarcrm/',

    SugarCRM works fine except the email notification for new leads which send the URL to a new lead without the port "880" which results in an error page after clicking the link.

    Any suggestions where I have to update the port or edit variables for the {URL} ?

    Which version of Sugar are you using? There used to be a bug relating to this in another area of the program.

    Using SugarCRM Version 5.5.4 (Build 1246).

    Let me know more about the bug in this case and especially the fix

    Apologies for the delay, I lost track of the thread. Coincidentally, thanks for bumping it.

    I discovered it in 6.x, so it very likely did exist in 5.5 as well. While the problem I found was in a different module, the key here is to examine the related code that generates the message, but for your scenario. There is a good chance it is a similar problem from what you've described.

    There should be similar code to that which generates the {URL} in the bug I referenced. Give that a look to see if it is being generated in the same manner as it is in the bug. I don't know off hand where that code is, but that's the reason why I referenced the bug. The process is similar, just in a different code file.
