Directory link in a field

Hello,
I need to create a field under contacts where I can put a link to a directory stored on the same server where Sugar is running.
I try all possible field type but I'm not able to do it? Anyone can give me a hint?

Do you want to download the file from the link you want to setup on Contacts module?
How do you want to define the link?
Is there any pattern on link url?

What I want is a fleld type where I can insert during the contact creation process a link to a directory on the same server where sugar run.
This link have to be clickable and it must open a browse folder window to look at the content of that directory and operate on files stored in.
The link look like \\myserver\mydir

As far I know the Field Type "Link" should accomplish your needs.

I'm running Sugar CE 6.1.1 but can't find the field type "link", I found URL or HTML but both of them are not viable for my purpouse.

I think the 'Link' filed is now called a 'Relate' field... also you have the URL field (which I haven't had much success using for linking to fileshares)
