I have had an issue with a SugarCRM install on Linux ever since upgrading to 4.2.0. I have a directory with a size of 1.5MB. I don't mean directory content, I mean the size of the directory file. Look at the sugar/cache/backups sub-dir:
drwxrwxr-x 19 apache root 4096 Apr 25 15:05 .
drwxr-xr-x 17 apache root 4096 Aug 16 15:46 ..
drwxrwxr-x 4 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 420_post_install_fix_backups
drwxrwxr-x 2 apache root 15163392 Oct 4 11:08 backups
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 csv
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 custom_fields
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache apache 4096 Apr 20 14:39 diagnostic
drwxrwxr-x 6 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 dynamic_fields
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 dyn_lay
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 feeds
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 images
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 4096 Oct 2 12:15 import
-rw-rw-r-- 1 apache root 56 Apr 19 08:45 index.html
drwxrwxr-x 4 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 layout
drwxrwxr-x 10 apache root 4096 Apr 19 14:55 modules
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 pdf
drwxrwxr-x 5 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 smarty
drwxrwxr-x 4 apache root 4096 Oct 2 19:43 upload
drwxrwxr-x 2 apache root 4096 Apr 19 08:45 _vti_cnf
drwxrwxr-x 3 apache root 28672 Oct 4 08:45 xml
Now...I can't manipulate this directory. Rmdir tells me ifs not empty, rm -R freezes, rm tells me its not a directory. I can cd backups, but if I "ls" in it it freezes too. I rebooted and ran a fsck, and it fixed a few issues but not this.
What can I do? What should I do?
Mike
