Disable session expiration SugarCrm 6.xx

I'm translating labels etc. conguration set up with new SugarCrm and lost quite a few hours of work because #¤&" session has expired.

Please could anyone tell me can I disable temporarily session expiration from config.php?

not in config.php but in php.ini ( or php5.ini ) in the apache environment.
try to change session.gc_maxlifetime.
