Default Disabled Features in 30 Day Trial Mode?

Are there any features disabled in 30 day trial mode? I have not been able to get pop email retrieval to work or to get the system to save signatures, or to upload company image (Image upload appears to take special file format and size?).

See specific threads about these issues. Although Sugar support indicates that there are no features turned off in the 30 day trial mode, There are still issues with each of these features that may trip up new users. Signatures can be saved with multiple saves, but I stil cannot get them to load into composed email. Logos adjust aspect ratio to match logo to size of placeholder rather than maintaining aspect ratio and shrinking proportionally to fit. Cannot get pop retrievel to group email box in order to process it............... I'd appreciate help with email or signature issue.......... logo issue is identified and unfixable without modification of logo. HCG

I too have never been able to change the company logo via the admin webbased interface with ANY version or installation of Sugar which includes over a dozen seperate installs of Sugar 4 upto 4.5 on multilple machines and OS's.

If you open up the original company_logo.png file (located in include/images) into your graphics editor, you can view properties such as dimensions and file type.

Your 'new' logo will need to fit [be] this dimension size and file type.

What HAS worked for me is using a graphics editor to resize and save the company logo as a png type file like the original.

Rename the original logo from company_logo.png to company_logo.png.org or whatever renaming variation you're comfortable with.

Save your new logo file and place it in the include/images directory with proper permissions and you're set to go. Be sure to make sure that set your background to be transparent also!

I don't know what the sugar bug is or issue is with regars to this problem. All I know is that when I have my mind set on something I'll find a way, and this was my solution. I suspect many others have figured out or done the same on their own as well.
