Disapearing cases

Hi there,

I have noticed that if select any cases in the list and then go to the next page of the cases list, the cases on the previous page I'd selected disapear from the list althogther. There are just gaps in the numbering where they once were

eg 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 no 4, 5, or 6, they just vanish

It took me ages to realise where they had gone...

If I search for the cases by their number I can find them but it's status will be blank, whereas it was new or closed before it had no status at all. If I then open the case for editing and then save it without chaging anything it saves it with the 'new' ststus and it reappears in my list.

This behaviour is turning out to be a bit of a pain as I have to do a daily and weekly reports of all my cases in Excel format. I can only export one page at a time and then merge the spreadsheets into one as I can't select multiple cases over different pages of the list as the ones selected on previous pages disapear from the list completely

When you are doing your export are you using the advance filter feature? By using the filter you can filter by Assigned to, account, subject, status and priority and limit what is seen. This will simplfy your exports greatly. Check boxes are not save from page to page but you can increase the number of items that are displayed per page. To do this you go to Admin -> System Settings and increase Listview items per page. I set mine to 40 for normal. But once in a while when have to do mass update I will bump it up to 100 temporarly and after return it to 40.
