Disappearing Sub Panels for Custom Modules

Hi, I'm using SugarCRM CE 5.2.0k and am having some issues with sub-panels dissappearing for my custom modules. When I do a repair/rebuild the subpanels come back, but then they'll 'randomly' dissappear again at some point - I've not yet identified what's triggering that to happen or what's changing.

The following error is found in the logs for each subpanel that doesn't appear on a module:

[FATAL] Bad subpanel definition, it has incorrect value for get_subpanel_data property <name_of_subpanel>

I've looked in these forums and there is a mention of this error, however the solution the poster came to (rebuilding language files) does not work in my case. I've created the modules through Module Builder and it's happening on a couple of different systems with different custom modules. I have systems on Windows and Linux, both with the same problems - I'm using Apache with MySQL in both cases.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

If you have several 5.2.0k system that are exhibiting the same behavior then my guess is that you are seeing a bug. I looked back over bug reports to see if I could find something similar but I couldn't but that's not uncommon considering the age of that release.

There were several bugs with relationships in 5.2.x and any of those might be the cause.

It also might be a external script/program deleting the subpanel definitions somehow. I doubt its a permission issue as the repair brings them back and it would not if it were a permission issue.

Why are you still on such an old version? Support for that version ended last year sometime I think...
