Distribution Web to Lead Solution

Hello,

I am new to sugarcrm and would like to get some help to get started. I have already red the forum but was not successful in finding the right solution. My question is this.

I have leads coming from multiple websites. I would like to allocate them to agents. What kind of filters are in place for agents to get these leads in real time to the agents. I am talking about few thousand leads at a time. For about 40-60 agents. I read about the web to lead feature but does it work in 5.2? Also what other modules are available for tracking and distribution. Any help would be grateful.

You've not mentioned whether you're using Professional or Community Edition? The options open to you are different with each.

Yes, web-to-lead works in 5.2 (though the url changed format between 5.1 and 5.2 so web-to-lead forms written for 5.1 need a slight change).

Thereafter, with Professional you can use the workflow engine to allocate the leads between your field agents.

with community edition, you either need to write a logic hook to do this, or use one of the 3rd party workflow plug-ins available on SugarForge.
