Default Documents - upload file - select button missing

    Hi,

Since upgrading to v5.1, there are issues with docuements editview.

The filename field is blank - no text field and no select button. Just the label.

I've cleard out an mods from the studio in custom/modules/Documents/metadata/editviewdefs.php so it should be running from the editviewdefs in module/Documents/metadata - but it's still blank.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

Did you run the admin->repair->quick repair after you deleted that file?

    Hi,

    Thanks - yes I did.

I've found the problem though. I had overridden the standard document edit view definition eith the file 'custom/module/Documents/views/view.edit.php' = to preset some dropdowns depending on the calling module (contracts). However, I hadn't realised that there was a standard edit view override already in place for that module. So I had trashed those overrides which must have included the file selection box etc.

So I replaced my custom override file with a copy of the standard override file and modified that with my customizations and it's now working fine.

    Thanks
