Why in the name of Zeus's beard @ 3pm everyday our CRM basically stops? Like clock work between 3-330 central we cant do anything related to the CRM. Does any other company have this problem? Im about to pull the plug on Sugar CRM if this continues to happen.

It's not SugarCRM itself, but something that is either connecting to it, a scheduled job, or something else on a shared server taking up all of the server resources. Other possible factors are just network overload at that time of the day or everybody hitting the system at the same time each day and the server isn't sufficient to handle it. You can easily rule out a scheduled job by checking the Scheduler on the Admin page to see if anything is scheduled to run at that time of the day. It could also be a custom report running against the db each day that locks the tables up.

    Just a few clarifying questions.
Are you hosted on-site or on-demand?
Is there an item in the scheduler running at that time? (ie full text indexing)
Is the same problem experienced by users in different locations, or just users in your office?

Today its taking anywhere from 30 sec to 60+ sec to load the next lead page. Its been like this since about 10am. We've reset Sugar already once today to see if that would help but negative. Any help would be appreciated. We've had Sugar since I got here in April & this is the first trouble Ive had with it, but its killing our production.

I've gone to Yahoo, ESPN etc to see if it was our internet and those sites pulled up without hesitation. So its something with the CRM

I still suggest ruling out some of the items I mentioned above such as someone running reports against SugarCRM or directly against the SugarCRM database.

Anything slowing down your database? Something like
    - reporting processes?
    - daily backup?
(things running outside of your Sugar installation but using Sugar database)
