So we are moving servers and so I tried to install the latest SugarCRM Community Edition 5.5.0. On install.php it said that I had PHP 5.1.6 php and it needed 5.2.X (compatibility chart). So just to test the new server I took the old sugarcrm folder and database dump from the old server and put the folder and imported the mysql database dump onto the new server. I then ran yum update php and yum update mysql. I restarted the system.
I can successfully get to the login page for the "old" sugarcrm version on this new server but when I try to login, whether I put correct or wrong credentials it just seems to reload the screen. No new information. I thought that was strange so I tried to install the 5.5.0 again (i just renamed the folder). The part where it checks the system for compatibility it just goes blank. Literally, after pressing "accept" and "next' that menu disappears and I only get a gray background (the brackground behind the menu for accept/accept.)
I am soo confused. All of my other httpd/mysql/php apps work just fine. Any idea what in the world happened?
