Doubt on how to search dates (6 RC1)

Hi,

First of all sorry if this was already answered but I already searched the forums and documentation and didnt find how to do it.

I am new to Sugar, just installed the 6 RC1 CE Edition.

I configured the system date format to the format dd/mm/yyyy.

I can do a search using the exact date (like 28/08/2009), ot works OK. But i cant seem to be able to search like records based only on month and year (by what I read, I should be able to search the above date by putting %08/2009 for example). If I try the above it returns nothing.

Is it possible to search the date this way? If yes, whats the correct way to do it?

You should deploy 5.5.x version as 6.x is not ready for production.

Then you could look at at enhanced search in sugarforge which will enable you to search on date parameters
