    Default drop down list is not sortable ?

    I'm using sugarcm 4.5.0f
    I edit an existing dropdown list "industry" in the Account .
    I added an industry of "Information Technology" on existing industry_dom of Account
    but i found that the industry dropdown list will not sort

    Are you talking about sorting automatically or are you manually sorting the list and it is not showing up that way? If you edit the file '\custom\include\language\en_us.lang.php' you can edit the list directly.

    As you see, in the 1st and 2nd screen , I added "Information Technology" in existing dropdown
    Then on creating new Accounts (3rd screen), the "Information Technology" in the industry type drop list show at the last on the list. I suppose this list is automatically sorted. That's mean "Information Technology" should be placed in between "Hospitality" and "Insurance"

    Hi,

    To the best of my knowledge, the lists are not sorted automatically and we have to sort them manually. This is the case with custom fields at least. I have never tried with an existing field. But I think it will be the same.

    Try it.
