dropdown menus

hello,
i've installed sugarCRM for some days, and i'm customizing it for my needs, but i face a little problem.

how can i create a new dropdown menu on my bug tracking module?
i mean, when i try and add a new drop down menu from the builder, it adds a multiple slect with all values displayed instead of a dropdownmenu

looks likre that:

instead of something like:

http://bakaboy.ifrance.com/img/2.png
when i create a new dropdown list how do i affect it to my bug tracking ?
