Question Dropdown not giving -none- option

I've having a problem getting a default dropdown to be the -none- option. I'm using Sugar 4.5.1b. Normally, I can create dropdowns and add an extra row that is just blank. This blank row can be used as the default option when adding a custom field. I've tested on my local Sugar install (also 4.5.1b) and it still works this way.

My Problem: I am still able to add the blank row, but I can't select it when I create a custom field on the account screen as the default option. Older fields that were moved into this version of Sugar still work correctly.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Are you adding it via the Studio?
You need to make the blank row the first row from my experience.
I usually skip the studio and do it manually in the /custom/include/language/en_us.lang.php file.

Yes, I've been using studio. Funny thing is, I've been able to create the blank row at any position before and just drag it to the top so it''s the default. That doesn't work anymore though!
