Dropdown in Sugar5

Hi people,

I've created a new Dropdown in Sugar5 and then saved it, but i can't see it in the list of Dropdowns... Have someone an idea???

Did you associated with a custom field in one of the modules? If so go to that field, open it and figure out the name you used to title the drop down field. My guess is you forgot to give it a name and it automated the naming.

Do to the number of dropdowns, I rarely use the drop down editor anymore, instead I open the field using the dropdown and edit it from within.

Dropdowns are made of a dropdown field and a dropdown list.
When you add a new dropdown field you are requested to specify a list of values to be shown in the field.
You can proceed in two ways:

1. create first a dropdown list in the dropdown editor, then create a dropdown field in studio and associate it to the previous list.
2. create first the dropdown field in studio, then:

• using the edit button, create a new dropdown list form there, as suggested from Paris, or
• going in dropdown editor, create a new dropdown list,then go back to studio and associate field to list.

I agree with Paris' suggestion, it's a lot faster.
