    Default DROPLIST Management

    Hello -

I'm new to Sugar. I currently don't have access to the server sugar is running on so I don't have all the details of the install at my. I have some basic questions about managing droplists. If there are resources I should be looking at other then the Documentation provided (this did not answer my questions) with the product please let me know.

Sugar Version (Version 4.5.1d (Build 1273))
    Sugar Edition (SugarPro)
    OS - Linux
    DB - MySQL
    PHP - ??
WebServer - Apache not sure of version.

    1) Where are the values for the Droplists stored? I don;t see them in the DB anywhere.
    2) Is there a way to "de-activate" a droplist value without removing it from the list
    3) If a droplist value is removed, can it still be used as a filter for reporting?
    4) is there any referential integrity in the DB with repect to droplists?
    5) If I try to "order/sort" the droplist values, the interface randomly moves other values around. Has anyone seen this behaviour?

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi dmachmeier

Are you talking about the dropdown lists?

If yes you can manage them through Admin -> Dropdown Editor.
    They are stored into files:
    1. include/language/<language>.lang.php (original ones)
    2. custom/language/<language>.lang.php (edited through Studio)
    3. custom/Extension/application/Ext/Language/ (modified by installers)
