Duplicate Email Attachment

I have yet to confirm this but it was reported to me yesterday:

1) A user opens an attachment from within a sugar IMAP email account. Done - no probs
2) Another email comes to the same user from the same adderss with a different attachment. - The previous attachment is opened.

Is this a common problem.


When I get into the office this afternoon I'll have a chance to see it for myself.
I couldn't mind any other reports of this, so maybe it's a user error.

Any heads up help would be great.

I haven't resolved it yet, but in my testing from a few other email addresses to the same user, the duplicate attachment is no longer happening.

Admin->Repair Sugar->Clear vardefs, Clear javascript, Clear ....

This may not be what fixes it, but I haven't had it happen since.
The sender of the problem emails will begin sending emails with attachments again tomorrow.



Are the messages you receive the duplicate attachment in the INBOX or are they in a subfolder?

I am having this issue with multiple email accounts from multiple senders. They are in the inbox.

It is intermittent yet common. I have not found a common cause.

Clearing the cache seemed to have worked for a day (had not complaints) but next day people were having the same issue.

Phew i thought i was the only one. for me its ok when the files are small but when the files are over 400K this happens....

i posted here http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37940 a while back. (didnt get time to send files yet tho)
