e-mail body text is empty receiving e-mail with outlook

Dear all

Sending a mail through SugarCRM Professional (SaaS Versie 6.1.2) gives a empty body text with - different - Outlook e-mail clients (within different IT environments / customers.) With Gmail email client the body text is ok, also the send messages box within sugar contains a proper body text.

With another SugarCRM Professional instance with the same version and also hosted, there are no problems. E.g. the body text is ok / properly filled. When we put the email account (a gmail account) from this Sugar instance in the instance with this problem, we face exactly the same problem.

It is quite a strange combination of a specific Sugar instance and different Outlook e-mail clients. We tried with different e-mail clients / SMTP servers, they all has had the same problem. So, the problem is not the used SMPT server.?

Does anybody have suggestions?

No, still waiting / working upon a solution.

The strange thing is, it happens only with some specific / individual Sugar instances. Including your case there are only two cases as far I know?

I have a Sugar hosted / SaaS Professional Edition with this problem. Another Sugar SaaS Professional Editions with the same e-mail clients and versions, there no problems.

I have found a sollution, The solution in my case is to delete the signature / email options , something corrupt with MS email instances.

If this does not work, delete the whole email cliient

I am using Sugar Enterprise 6.4.1 and there is no Signature setting to be found, which can be disabled.
Please see below screenshot


Any other idea?

Hi Michael,

Yes I see. You are looking at the <admin> menu and <email settings>

But, you have to take the <email> menu from the tabs. (Home, Accounts, email, activities)

There you will find setting and email signature,

However, my problem still remains the same, because the signature field was already set to NONE.

I hope that Sugar can solve my issue for this matter.
