E-mail campaigns (advanced)

Hi all!

I've installed SugarCrm trhee days ago and I'm discovering some of its advantages. One of it is the e-mail campaign and the campaign status, it's very useful! But I've a few problems with it:

Though I'm working in localhost, when I send a mail campaign (testing modality) and, in the same computer, then I open the mail I recive, but the property "E-mail viewed" on SugarCrm doesn´t change. Do somebody know why? How does this property work?
(I've tried the "click-throght" property and it's works correctly).

The other problem I have is that I've tried the next trick: http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...st_internal%3F
to have all the SugarCrm data internal except the files I need to handle the e-mail campaign (this ones are external). But I'm not sure the trick is ok at all, becouse when I click throught the link in the e-mail, it call the new PHP I create on the external site, but it doesn't redirect to the real campaign files (the campaign_tracker.php in that case). I'm doing somethig wrong?

Please, help me, I think the "e-mail campaign" is the best alternative to my mail-marketing.

Does the redirection have any relationship with this setting?:
Admin/Email Settings Configure/Outbound Email Options/Location of campaign tracking files
